Developmental Education | Supporting Neurodivergent People To Thrive.

Halena Mudge, Developmental Educator at Gathering Thoughts, pictured in a professional headshot representing neuroaffirming ADHD, autism and neurodivergent support in the Adelaide Hills.

I’ve walked many paths along my life’s journey from parenting neurodivergent children to teaching, support coordination and now developmental education.

Along the way, I’ve connected with people carrying their stories quietly. The overlooked, the misunderstood, the ones who feel invisible. I walk alongside them with honesty, humour and warmth, creating genuine connection and space where they feel recognised, supported and safe.

Valuing humanity guides how I move through the world and fuels my ongoing learning, shaping how I show up alongside others with care. I’m thankful for the people and experiences that have shaped my journey, who have each offered me new perspectives and wisdom.

I believe everyone has the right to be seen, heard and valued, and to become the best version of themselves. Everyone should be free to choose their own path through life, without ever having to walk it alone.
